They had a baby girl. Aubrey Claire. She's a cutie. If you click on the link from my previous post and scroll all the way to the right, there are a couple of pictures of her. I think she looks like Katie, but with Dan's coloring.
I'm going to see them this weekend. I can't wait!

Oh What a Life
Good weekend. Friday night E stayed with a babysitter, and Kristi, Amber and I went to the new Mexico restaurant where I exchanged phone numbers with the manager. Marco (the manager) called me the next day to see if I would like to go to dinner later in the week. This should turn out to be interesting.
Mom picked E up Saturday morning and headed to my brother's house in VA to "tickle some fat rolls" -- that would be my nephew. Also on Saturday I attended Dave's wetting down. We were supposed to catch a charter bus to Annapolis, but when the charter bus showed up an hour and a half late we found it was smaller than the bus that was ordered, and so the 40 people who showed up couldn't fit on the 24 passenger bus. We ended up at the Green Door, which was... fun.
Last Thursday E and I did some "sitting" for Shelley. I included a link to some of the best of 600 or so pictures we took that night. http://www.logcabinstudios.tv/family.htm The pics of me and E are about 20 pictures to the right.
I also found out last week that as of next week I will be promoted to a GS-13. I'm totally psyched!!! My parents will be hosting a promotion party at their house on the 8th of March... chili cook-off and ping-pong tourney. Also, if you would like to participate in the cook-off I request that it be turkey or chicken based (though this is not required). I will be purchasing the beer/wine/liquor, so if you want something special, put your orders in early.

Ah... Tuesday
I realize that I haven't posted in nearly 2 weeks. Well, I'm sorry. Nobody's perfect. (And yes, I have an attitude... I get it from my daughter.)
Not much has gone on in the past couple of weeks. Two weekends ago we went up to Rick and Mandy's. E made it the whole way in the car with no potty accidents!! I was really proud of her.
I started a new quilt last Friday and after a weekend I am nearly finished. I will post pictures of it when I'm done.
Work has been pretty busy. There are lots of things going on. I'll be taking on more responsibility and hopefully I'll get a promotion out of it. We shall see.
That's all for now. I'm going to try to take some pictures of E tonight... we're going to get our toenails done (so exciting!)
